This quake started out in Sichuan and split off into all the different provinces, even tremors were felt in Vietnam and Afganistan!
This quake was very strong, it affected all the Chinese Provinces except Xinjang,Jilin, and Heilongjiang were affected by either this main quake or several of it's equally frightening afterquakes that ranged between 4.0~6.1 on the Richter Scale.
The most closet city to the epicenter of the earthquake was in the town(s) Wenchuan and Yingxiu. The quake was described as "Very Destructive" on the Europe Macrosesmic Scale (EMS).
